Attacking the Left, by Quoting the Left

accuses me of "attacking the left". How did I do this? I guess it was by posting a copy of long term leftist Paul Berman's article, A Friendly Drink In Time of War, which was originally printed in the avowedly Leftist magazine Dissent.

Along with articles by long term leftists Christopher Hitchens, and Keith Thompson, both of which do in fact criticize the MGM faction of the Left...

Well, I have no problem attacking the MGM Left, nor the "idiotarian Right" for that matter either. It's just that there is no point posting articles criticitising Pat Buchanon and Pat Robertson on an Integral Blog, since the mere mention of their names makes most readers start to gag....with good reason.....

I would not say such things to their faces, of course, since there could be no possible benefit to anyone from doing so. But I am extremely confident neither of them read my blog.

So why waste any time discussing them? And yet, I find that some "integral blogs" do, since I guess it gives them pleasure in slamming the indefensible.

So then, lest there be any confusion, the MGM is in fact defined as the idiotic left. Whether their members are Left Wing Blue meme, or unhealthy Green meme. And paleo-conservatives as the idiotic right. And there is no possiblity of making it to Second Tier holding the perspectives of either of them. Despite the fact that the former is so popular among those who term themselves "integral", including Wilber HIMSELF from time to time.

Anyone who self-identifies as extreme Left will resent my saying so. Anyone who self-identifies as extreme Right will resent my saying so.

So be it.....
